juz came back frm guides camp(schl 1)ytd..now my whole body aching n soo tired..the camp was tough..since it was a training camp n i knew it was gonna 2 be tough b4hand cuz May told me last yr last she wanted 2 organise this type of camp..hehe..even though d trng was tough,the games that the seniors organised were v fun...esp d games that they had on the last day...
1st day..i came 2 camp late..half an hr late 2 be exact cuz d car couldnt start..yesh..of all d 365 days in a yr..the car had 2 locked that day..damn dao mei..cuz i noe i am gonna 2 be punished badly if i come late 4 camp cuz seniors de seniors de seniors is organising the camp.wen i arrive there..May ma'am was briefing them abt d rules n stuff.den was told dat i was d grp leader of Gandalf 4 that day..frankly,i didnt want to be a leader..cuz i was too tired frm camp FLAG n i wanted a little rest frm telling other pple wad 2 do..then was told that i had 2 bond the grp 2gether,i was thinking..okay..if i could bond the pple in my patrol at camp FLAG,then it will be no problem here..haha..i didnt noe bonding pple frm diff cliques could be soo diffult even though i noe most of them since i was in sec 1 or 2.d whole company was split into 2 grps n we played some games..yunqi ma'am was arrenging some stuff..den asking us 2 guess who it was..haha..i still cannt gt that game..May ma'am de group was playing catching..haha..then we had footdrill..andreas n xueying ma'am was kind of pushing us 2 the limit..marching ard in d hot sun..i almost collasped cuz havent recovered frm d other camp yet n somemore during camp FLAG,i had 2 strike tent during d last day(see above entry)...luckily they moved us into the shade..after drill,we had some kind of challenge,which kind of remind me of camp FLAG's de patrol challenge,except there was 3 or 4 handicaps in the grp n 1 senior 2 take care of d grp..i was playing mute,chanel-blind,jiayi-lame..i think our grp didnt do v well during d challenge...later that nite..we were told 2 slp that 9pm..strange rite?that was wat i was thinking 2..i was correct..at 12:14am ard dere..May ma'am came in d rm n ask us 2 wake up..asking us 2 bring water bottle n our scarf..den we went into their rm n were told that we r having our nightwalk now..that scared me out of my wits already..May ma'am told a ghost story..but i didnt listen..then we were told 2 blindfold..wen we were waiting,i dunno y..my head started getting quite painful..wanted 2 go n tell cher..but nv tell until my 3rd attempt..i went out of d rm..told dem i had headache den talk wif them 4awhile n rested..den hlped cher take my frenz out of d rm..needless 2 say..i didnt play..quite heng..cuz wen i was a little bit better..i knew abt d whole game already...after a few pple went out..we decided 2 take out Jie(Chew Jie Ying lar)...she ended up having a fever but didnt tell cher..so,ms ng n i took another girl out..after that..both ms ng wanted 2 go up n take n look n left d walkie-talkie wif me n jie..a little while after they left..may ma'am in poncho went 2 d rm..banged d door..scared d wits out of both of us even though we were outside..then she told us how 2 use d walkie-talkie n told us 2 send 1 of our frens up every 7 mins....haha..ended up,we didnt nd 2 really count..cuz every 7 mins..she will tell us 2 bring d next girl up(2 the 3rd floor lar)..we did that till ard 2:44am then both ms ng came back...turn out y they were gone 4 soo long ish that cuz dey were comforting Wei Ling.Jie n i ended up nt doing nite duty(cuz was 2 tired..it was 4am by the time we went back in the rm) n i think d seniors ended up doing it cuz dey say d next day that u guys didnt noe that u had 3 new seniors faces staring at u at nite 4 every 30 mins..haha..
d next day..woke up at 6:20am then my grp d pple hlped me 2 turn on the light 2 tell every1 2 wake up..haha...though i was late..but was told by adeliene(Neo)that we were 2 be a the bball court at 7am..n nt 6:30am.then i think qing's grp was 2 lead us in the PT..but 1st..we had 2 pay seniors our pumping 1st..did abt 40 push-ups den started d PT excerise..was quite tired by the end of d exercise(haha..lao liao).then had breakfast den started our day's game..we had 2 earn monoploy "money" frm d seniors.i think we did better..our 1st station was d numbering game..yunqi was i/c of that station..we had 2 memorise where each number was..n was told 2 do a cheer or sing a song b4 we starting flipping d paper..turn out my grp pple had a gd memory..we earned $4 frm that game..then we on 2 the twister station i think..earned $5 frm that station n went to d acid rain station..we had 2 earn cardboard by yelling out diff cheers..haha..managed to get all..but after we gt all d cardboard..was 2 tired 2 yell anymore..hehe..gt $3 or 4 .then went to May ma'am's station..had 2 transfer d netball 2 a bucket then wif d bucket..had 2 transfer the ball 2 another bucket wif water..n we had only 2 raffia strings 2 do that..earn $4..then went to jasmine ma'am's station called trust fall..where a person had 2 fall standing up frm a table then we use our arms to catch her..chanel helped us in this station cuz she trusted us completely n jasmine ma'am said that her fall was the best she had seen..haha..had $5 frm that station.after that..huiying ma'am's station..we had 2 decide which balloon 2 burst cuz 1 balloon(among d 5 of them)have a ring inside..haha..turn out the balloon we though have flour have the ring inside it..haiz..haha..had $3 frm that game.last station..sanah's ma'am station..the most diffult station i guess..there is an engineer n a contractor between the 6 of us then d contractor had 2 tell us(d workers) what the engineer said abt which part goes where..n she cannt see d engineer's work.turn out our work was v diff frm d engineer's creation but sanah ma'am said that we had gd teamwork n wen d workpiece turn out v diff..we didnt blame each other..Gandalf rulez!! we gt $4 frm d game..haha.the field cooking was quite bad..1 of our mess tins had alot of wax inside n jasmine ma'am had 2 hlp us gt a new 1...n i was quite mad at Edith at that time..cuz keep saying me that n this..luckily in the end..my grp pple was all fed n well..then we watch a 2002 video(mf de)in which it was a concert but we initially were gonna 2 watch only d fancy drill part..but ended up watching almost d whole thing..we were suppose 2 do drill instead of watch d concert video..that was how gd our seniors was =)...haha..while we were watching..xueying ma'am told us some of stories behind d production..also d 15-20mins fancy drill performance onstage by combined UGs took 3 mths 2 rehearse..i was like..wow..then we played another game that d whole guides company had 2 come 2gether..vivian,jia yi(sec 2),nadia n i were in d 1st grp..so,gt alot of pressure..vivian was suppose 2 throw the ball into the bucket blindfolded n we had 2 guide her..after a few trys..went in..heng..nurul's grp had d most pressure..they had 2 guess which balloon had a ring inside..out of 20 balloons..haha..in the end..huixian said try d purple 1..cuz mr prem's fav colour..haha..den really got..haha..we finished in 13min 24sec..better then our 15mins target..yea!!after that..shower..den we prepared 4 our gangshow item..our grp was doing a skit on b4 d camp,during camp n after camp n our aim was 2 make it both funny but also serious..we used d marching cheer that d seniors taught us..haha..during d gangshow..turned out successful but qing's grp was v creative,they made a cheer out of our camp experience..haha..but jie's grp was v serious..their skit gt interview abt how d parents,teachers n d guides themselves feel abt guiding..yea..then talked wif d seniors..after our camp..i then realised that our story is much like d movie "coach carter"..(guides..see d movie n u will noe wad i mean..)i also gt inspired wen they told us that they had 2 fight 4 what they want..n their unitness..in which we dont haf..cuz our sec 3 guides divided into 3 grps..atikah,weiling,weiyi dey all 1 gang,adeliene,siok huan,siok zhen,yoke hoon,ziling another 1 n last of all..hidayah,jieying,yan qing,edith n i 1 grp.i can say..we can communicate wif atikah dey all but definitely nt wif adeliene dey all cuz i feel adeliene is using her sis "power" 2 throw her weight ard..that nite..slpt that 11pm but got woken up by May ma'am dey all 4 emergency drill..drill was v tiring..we did d routine she wanted 2 be done perfectly till 3:30am..during that 2 hrs..learnt alot of things..n my respect 4 d seniors also gt bigger..even though they shouted at us...said sarcastic remarks..but i noe..at the end of d day..it is 4 our own gd..n so that guides can be a strong cca again..n 4 that..i thank u guys.oh ya..during d talk..we were also told of d xi sun that the seniors had 2 make..i couldnt believe that andreas ma'am poon 3 days of clsses juz 4 us..OMG..n May ma'am also juz came back frm camp(haha..like 4 of us(hidayah,edith,Jie ying n i)n she could be at hm slping then n nt hlping out at camp..
Last day...woke up at 6:30am..then woke up edith den the whole guides company(nt including seniors lar)..we were down earlier we were suppose 2..i was happy cuz i did my job as a timekeeper..den qing n i went to report to d seniors..after that,Gandalf lead d PT..since we planned out what moves 2 do earlier that morning,it went well..then breakfast then our last games..we had 2 take our towels 1st then went to do...our 1st station was newspaper mummy..n our grp won in that game..then war something..haha..edith's grp won in that game..after that did telematch..my whole t-shirt n shorts was covered in flour but it was FUN!! havent had any flour games for awhile already..hehe..then went on 2 do water navigation..our grp lost in that 1..atikah's grp lost..cuz we kenna splashed by their grp pple 2 many times..haha..then went 2 do messy quiz..yunqi ma'am had 2 ask us qns..den if gt wrong,either we have 2 be splashed by water or eat jam..haha..gt 2 noe a few things..but didnt gt splashed..cuz everytime my turn..always answer correct de..somemore i d only 1 in my grp nv kenna splashed..haha...then went on 2 do a puzzle thing..took us a long time but did it..last station..d water hose..d station i was looking forward 2..haha..we had 2 sing/cheer non-stop den May ma'am will pour d hose at us..haha..i gt d least wet at this station..we were d 1st grp 2 finish..so,after we changed n stuff..went down n helped senior finish up d orange syrup n hlped them clear up d station..after every1 finished..we had 2 do area cleaning..my grp had d cleanest job..picking up any rubbish on d 1st floor..then report to d senior's rm..haha.we took like 15 mins 2 do the 1st floor den went up cuz d 1st floor was soo clean man!! but wen we went back frm senior's rm..our rubbish bag was full..hehe..then had prize giving ceromony..we gt the most improved grp..haha..den wei ling's grp gt d overall best grp n cai er,vivian,atikah n yan qing gt d best guide award...after that..did feedback form n manito exchange thing..adeliene(tan)gt me a round bar of soap..quite cute de..i hope yoke hoon like my necklace though..haha..then d guides camp is offically finished..quite sad that i wont be seeing the seniors again cuz they hlped us alot..
