Ytd i went to braddell-westlake scouts's the campfire,title shanghai knights..that campfire was their last campfire by the shadows scouts..mainly made up of braddell-westlake scouts,mayflower scouts n zhonghua scouts..cuz d braddell-westlake is gonna 2 merge wif another schl(sorry,4got d name)n will be part of d polar bear scouts...

that day,we met at bishan mrt at ard 6pm 1st..then took 156 to braddell westlake sec.i arrived 1st,den huixian,chanel n jolene arrived n went off 2 ntuc 2 buy snacks den edith called me n asked me 2 go wif her 2 buy sweets n potato chips also at ntuc.we both brought fruitella n 2 bags of chips..den dere was conflict at the cash counter,at first,edith asked huixian dey all whether we can cut queue(cuz huixian was already lining up) den dey say no,so,edith n i queued at diff counters 2 see who's counter faster,in d end,we faster den dem..of cuz gd..we rushed back 2 find romaine,vivian lai,nurul,atikah,yanqing n hidayah waiting..den while waiting 4 d bus,we took our lightsticks 1st,in d end only left v little..we missed d bus stop 2 go 4 braddell westlake,so had 2 take d next stop n walk back..actually quite okay lar.

d enterance 2 d cf was really nice..wif red colour xi on both side..like wedding like that..den we registered ourselves..n guess what..while waiting 2 go in..guess hu i saw...huixin!! the YA that hlp my patrol strike tent on d last day of camp FLAG!! haha..soo happy!! but she didnt recognise me at all..she was wif 4 other pple.wen we went in,we were escorted 2 d schl hall..their schl n a like our old campus 1 like that...haha..den huixian started giving sweets ard n atikah was hlping us do henna..hehe..while waiting 2 get sitted,i was looking at huixin d whole time,but didnt have d guts 2 say hi at all..den i sms huifang 2 ask whether she coming over or nt,turns out she coming,so,i was keeping an eye on huixin 2 see dat she didnt dissappear n wen huifang comes over,we can go n say hi 2gether.angeline also came 4 d cf..omg..den wen we went do..really v embrassing,angeline shouted at us 2 go n line up in 1 straight line..n huixin was watching..omg..that was d last thing i nd..den some1 shouted my name..haha..turns out 2 be amanda,my p6 clsmate..haha..i really v blur..nv see her.
this cf d PA system,light,stage..all v v v gd..there was no faulty microphone or anything throughout the whole cf...this cf was pretty diff 2..it is more like a concert n the MCs double up as d 3 lead singers...there was alot of songs played..mostly d more popular 1 now..like mice love rice n there was MJ's black n white..hehe..scgs's gg dance theme song,my sis will be pleased.cuz there was a dance competition held by d schl b4 d cf started,they showcased d 4 finalists...their dance was really good..got quality inside...haha..but i was wondering..y ACS(I) always do breakdance.dey did it in scgs gg cf,bishan park cf n d braddell westlake cf.but dis time,not d same 4 guys..now diff 3 guys..the dance competition came wif d cash prize of d winners winning $500.cool,eh?
overall,this cf was v fun...alot of energy..also v unique..but v ke xi i didnt get 2 see huifang(but she saw me during d disco thing) and didnt get 2 talk 2 huixin..juz hope i will see them in d next cf..but i dun think so,in huixin's case cuz she going 2 university next yr liao.oh ya..come 2 think of it,i saw almost all my Camp FLAG guides patrol members in their full u.i saw yi qian's 1 during COH meeting,rachel during scgs gg cf.hehe..meaning our patrol pple gt alot of yuan fen 2gether..hehe..
sad dat shadow scouts r disbanding..but they had a gd 8 yrs 2gether..so,let the shadow spirit live on!!

we finally had our ndp(school) rehearsal on friday..2 hrs after schl finish..it started at 2:15pm n schl ended at 12:15nn..haha..i wonder y d chers think we nd 2 hrs 2 eat..it is nt lyk u nd 2 set up any special equipment or sumthing..juz nd d s'pore flag n marching..thats all.we were told 2 bring boots but some juniors didnt bring boots cuz dey werent told 2 bring.so,we had 2 make do wif some pple having boots n some,dont..

we had 2 select a flag bearer n naturally,d highest position in d cca will get..lol..so,we nominated yq 2 be d flag bearer..there were abt 5 flagbearers all 2gether,karan,amanda,yq,shasha n 2 more guys frm bb n ncc..scouts didnt turn up 4 d rehearsal..we had our usual entrance marching in n d usual drum beat n stuff...n since we had almost d same thing during d speech day except we have less pple now(there is only 12 pple per squad).n mr shan is still d usual..wearing a cap n sunglasses n commanding us ard...but we had a gd laugh on friday,we mr raihan n mr shan was showing us was showing us how 2 march..den wen he started marching, d whole gg squad started laughing like siao cuz really v funny de lor..haha..n he told us d same thing as what he told during speech day..haiz..it is not like every1 of us is inexperienced marchers or anything right..so,it was quite unnesscary,i feel.but since dey chers,den we haf 2 listen,what 2 do...den gt 1 time,d band pple stop at d wrong beat den we kenna scolding..soo unfair..

the next rehearsal is next tues,2nd august in d bishan park itself..great..i dunno why dey have 2 mix d common tests n rehearsals together,like that,we dun nd study liao cuz go hm sure damn tired 1 den gt no mood 2 study...other den remembering our subjects facts,we have 2 remember d drum beats..

my sis juz got her yrbk of 2004 2ay..haha..her schl guides really did smthing v touching for their seniors,they video their last guides meeting in which d sec 3s interview d sec 4s n they asked qns like describe ur wedding n stuff like that n they had a powerpt presentation showing how every sec 4 had changed throughout d yrs(frm sec 1-4) by showing pics...how cool is that man!! n they showed it on their farewell nite..i was told that the sec 4s ended up crying..so..i guess this method really works..but if i was one of d sec 4s,i would cry 2 cuz it nice 2 noe that ur juniors actually took d trouble 2 find my old pics n present it nicely n it shows that ur yrs of making frens wif them n disclipining them didnt go 2 waste at all..
then i looked that d trips overseas dey made..instead of d usual camp,d sec 1s in scgs get 2 go 2 malacca..n every sec 3 get to go 2 OBS..unlike our schl which allow priority 4 the student leaders to go 2 OBS..n the sec 3s lit students in scgs gt 2 go 2 UK..imagine that..really cool lor,considering d furthest we went was 2 M'sia..which is like a 2-3 hrs car ride dere..n those in dance went on a exchange programme in new zealand..cool,eh?haha..lucky kids..2 bad i am nt 1 of dem..nvm..i will make d best of wad i have now..

sorry 4 nt updating 4 soo long....had a few tests and stuff.now suffering frm a bad cold..been sneezing all day and using lotz of tissue papers..hehe...blame it on d flag day that we had 2 do 4 our cip hrs on saturday n on ytd(sorry..nt a fan of flag day) n the weather is pretty bad 2..it can be sunny n raining at the same time,go figure!
tmr is the sec 1s enrolment ceromony..meaning that we have 2 have wear full u..so embrassing cuz i havent gt my badges yet frm ms ng n d sec 2s have abt 9-11 proficency badges..haha..nvm,my shoulders are "heavier" even though their sleeves are "heavier".tmr,i hope yoke hoon can enrol jia yi properly,dun let bogain lose face n tmr andreas n luk chuen are coming over..haha..more pressure.I am soo happy i finished d contact list n d mins of d COH meeting!!So,tmr,i guess,no paper work 4 me..haha..but have 2 do drill..so,any ideas how 2 create any paperwork??jking..
soo far..i have passed all my recent tests..eng,paper 1(i wrote compo abt d recess,d sights n sounds of it),20/30(was surprised)..den maths,24/40...hehe..juz hope i can keep this up...

back 2 topic..this afternn...went to scgs's madcapp concert...it started at 2am but we were a little bit late cuz there was a traffic jam going to scgs..went in wen the band was playing..luckily it was the 1st item.the band was good..haha..they even played the sound of music the theme song..cool eh?they played about 5 songs ...then scgs guides!! their dance item was titled black&white..frm michael Jackson's song..black n white..it was cheographed by nicole tay,a scgs guide n my former schlmate...it was v good..considering they were guides..thats why i was thinking of mfss's guides to maybe take a few dance lessons frm the mordern dance and we can perform on cca day..so that we can have some exposurer n more people will noe about guides cuz pple will only see d UGs after the performing arts people finish performing in the hall...n we have v little time to attract their attention n convince them to join..thats y the performing arts cca always have more pple..cuz pple have more exposure to them..back to scgs guides..they also performed at this yr's thinking day celebration..so,u guys might have seen them..then..next..it was drama society..their item was about mother n daughter...how mothers dont listen to their daughter..n some dont spent quality time with them..the whole drama was v real..n well..the MCs for this afternn was 2 of the drama society members...1 who played a daughter n d other who played an aunt..the aunt was v funny..she kept the audiences laughing all throughout the show..we had a 15mins break..then watched the handbell choir..it was nice..n funny..cuz the handbell choir played the star wars theme song n darth vader's song...then darth vader n d white robot guy came out n the audience started laughing like mad..n they were creative..like they said b4 the whole handbell choir came out..onboard the handbell choir express..n even got passengers..lol..n there were "stations" 4 each grenes(sorry..dont noe how 2 spell)..like folk,jazz n mordern..u noe that the handbell choir is only 5 yrs old n it already clinched a gold award at the SYF..omg..but frm the perfomance..i can see y...then the choir..this choir is different..after u see their performance,u will see choir frm a diff perspective..u noe that the choir juz came back frm some international music festival in sydney???thats how good they r...their performance was like a musical like that..with acting,singing n dancing...n even while they r singing..they change into diff formation...not stay in the semi-circle formation..n they have diff sections..in each section,there is abt 2-3 lead singers,which i guess r the seniors...needless to say..i was blown away by the performance..

haha..the whole concert lasted 2 1/2 hrs..i dont know how they did it...n they have another performance at nite..wonder where they get all their energy frm..well..they performed on friday afternn n night n this afternn n nite...2 days concert.during the concert...saw petra...but didnt get 2 see the person i was waiting 2 see..my senior,yq..i was waiting 2 see the surprised look on her face..well..i guess i didnt see her cuz her sis not performing..the black&white was only performed by the sec 2s n 3s but not sec 4s...but xq came on fri nite..i think mayyee might have seen her...

this week's guides meeting was quite diff from d rest of d 21 guides meeting i had this yr...haha..

d meeting started off as usual..but then we had sing along right after role call..which was a strange thing..mainly cuz we usually have drill straight away..haha..n i think we really put on a show 4 the sec 4s cuz they dont know the "i've got a fever,i'm hot" d cheer n the "automatic" cheer..lol..wen we were doing the 1st cheer..the seniors were laughing away..hehe..

then d 4 of us went to look 4 ms F ng 4 the "w" thing..lol..edith almost blurted out the thing to amanda n regina wen both of us went to them to ask 4 permission to see ms F ng...hehe..then wen we came back..we were told by chenpei to write down CL,ACL,commander,secretary,teasurer,AL,first-aider n quarter-mistress on a piece of paper given den were told to write down names(sec 3s)of d people we think r egligible for these positions n the most-in-demand pple were 2 have their interviews next wk or something..haha..i wrote almost all my gang d pple inside..hehe..

then at ard 4:50pm dere..we had drill..1st was dishan n wei ling commanding us....it lasted for ard 20mins bah..then dishan n all d seniors dissappeared..along with xinyu..then,i realised while drilling that seniors r conducting their interviews already..then hui wah went,then huixian,wei ling,hidayah,me,atikah n jieying..by the time they finished..it was almost 7pm..lol..die..there is 9 pple they interviewed n ms ng told hidayah wen she said she wanted 2 be treasurer that alot of peeps also want to be n v little peeps wanna be CL,ACL,secretary..all that....my turn came at ard 6:05pm like that..4 gd luck..i knock knuckles with my guides frens on d way upstairs...to the clsrm..i was told by dishan to go in...wow..so many seniors..all 14 of them including ms A ng..
it looks like a little bit like a council meeting rm.. lol..well..chenpei started asking d basic qns 1st..followed by joanne,then regina,trina..d hardest qn was why..that was hard..n wen they asked how how i rate my commitment to guides,with 1 being the weakest n 10,d strongest...i said 9..i noe it is a bit extreme...but i put all my blood,sweat n tears into guides for the past 3 yrs..n i have missed less then 5 guides meeting in the past 3 yrs also...but my mum agreed wen i told her..cuz i really care more abt guides then schoolwork...n my sis sees it as a natural transition for me to be a YA wen i go poly/JC while she wants to try other cca(s)..lol..in short..i had made guides my life..believe it or not...its up 2 u guys..cuz since i quit ballet in 2002..i have no more outside school cca..like my 3rd sis,frances took up ballet n piano but still can be d brownies CL in her pack..cool!!

haha..my only worry is that whether i spoke too highly of myself during the interview..i hope i didnt...cuz d seniors n chers didnt even tell us abt the interview..den nt prepared at all.heard frm chenpei that next wk is ROD(OMG..i am not prepared...too fast)i dont want to go through another nerve-wreaking 30mins...n i noe my ans 2 y i wan 2 be a secretary was lame..but my mind was blank..plus that was what i did do 4 the last 2 yrs...but i have high hopes for a v gd guides fren though...she really is capable of becoming a gd CL...believe me..even though..after guides,dont expect her 2 act all serious..lol..cuz she is really is a whole new diff person u see frm guides...lol...

juz realized a few wks ago..that singapore is really a v v v small country..tell u y..

my sis,tiara who is in scgs sec n in girl guides n in d patrol,flowerpecker have a senior called xq..who happened 2 be my girl guides senior de senior de senior yq d younger sister..n i also have a fren edith who is xq's successor in brownies n yq's junior in guides..haha..ya..out of abt 60+ sec schl in singapore n 10+ over cca(s)..my sis n xq can end up in d same patrol,same cca n same school n edith,me n yq can end up in the same cca n same school..funny how things work..so,now edith n tiara have a connection..since they known 1 person personally b4 or know that 1 person personally..

well..since edith n xq had not seen each other 4 abt 3 yrs..my sis n i reunited them during their school's guides cf..lol..i persuaded her 2 come n my sis casually asked xq abt edith..hehe..when i saw xq..d 1st thing that struck me was her resemblence to her sis..they really look alike..they could even pass off as twins n they r 2 yrs difference..both r really smart also..n cuz i told edith abt d surprise b4 she came n she said"i will try 2 act shock" n wen she saw xq..she really become shocked..lol..n couldnt speak..lol..wen xq ask her..i though mf wasnt invited 2 d scgs cf then why u here?..then she juz looked at me..lol.after that,edith told me y...cuz xq actually rmb her..cuz she dont usually rmb her juniors herself.well..after the whole thing,tiara told me xq couldnt rmb what edith look like n wen we were walking round d schl(k lar..only d 1st floor,cuz edith wanted 2 look ard) she asked my sis whether she d taller 1 or shorter 1..yea..1 more strange thing,i didnt even see yq there..i mean cuz this is d last yr that xq is gonna 2 be in scgs..so..maybe she shld come n see the cf or smthing...haha..n i was hoping 2 see her there n see her surprised face..lol..but the cf was great...the best i have seen soo far..the pple were v enthu,the dances r v energentic n d pple there can actually dance(i luv d sec4 dance most),d food was great,esp d cornflack crumbs cookies..haha..no wonder d cf is v popular n i can see d reason y scgs guides havent fallen apart..they have huge support frm their seniors who have graduated,they stay as 1,they can dance n host a good cf...haha..maybe we could send our guides 2 join mordern dance practice..all 30 of us..then put up a performance..what do u guys say??

another example...2 of my frens in my cls r actually distant cousins..yes..amala n shiyama r more then best frens,they r cousins..shiyama told me that 1 day after schl,she went to amala's hos n went 2 see d foto album n she saw her baby foto there..her mum carrying her..wow..i mean..it is soo coincidence that they attended d same pri schl,entered d same sec schl..n got to be best frens..but amala's side of d family r all in s'pore n shiyama's side,some r still in india...

so..i guess in both stories..fate r involved in playing a big part...so..fate does really exist =)

2day was v v v v v boring even though we didnt haf any lessons cuz get I&E day..the games in the hall was lame..some of d games there,we did it in last yr's maths&science camp n d binding ties game,we did it during guides camp last yr...2 make it worse,shiyama;amala n sabrina were on duty,so,i had no1 2 talk 2 during d activites..den hoon xuan,nallur,jasreen,shasha,fu lin n jia min stuck 2gether so i was naturally left alone...den d guys wif their own gang...n my recess n consession time wasnt the same as yan qing's,jie ying's,hidayah's n edith's..but luckily found wei ling dey all..den gt company..

haiz..d funfair where d students sold foods etc i felt was boring....except 4 the sec 1 s which sold a test tube which u can put ur name into it..den inside gt gel n d cover the gel wif candle wax n priscilla's store,which sold d sweet sweet thing.the funfair didnt feel anything like the funfairs i went in my pri schl days..there wasnt as many booths as d 1 i went in mcs,there also wasnt any booth which specialise in games..even though there was a booth that sold manga bks..n nobody seen v determined 2 sell their items as 2 shouting at d top of their lungs 2 promote their products..lol..but it kind of reminded me of mcs's funfairs..haiz..miss it soo much!! i also saw priscilla wen i was browsing through d booths...

after recess..that free activity 2 do for d 1st 2 periods on d 1st n 2nd lvl..went to do d indian rice thing on d paper..but didnt have enough time 2 finish,so,i asked shiyama 2 hlp me finish up,since she was station on that station(tkz!)..n later browse through d 2nd flr..haiz..my IPW nt displayed..all d late nite effort all in waste..but qing's n jie's gt displayed..hehe..i guess d last tsar of russia wasnt famous enough bah...cuz alot of pple learn geog n nv heard of him b4...

this is d highlight of d whole thing,30sec of fame..cuz in the threatrette..lol..at 12:40nn,we already waiting 4 them 2 come out of d hall..by 12:55nn,the outside of d theatrette was like a concert atmosphere like that..lol..blame it on d theatrette's aircon..lol..den wen we went in n got sitted,d sec 5s refused 2 move out of their seats..n mr lam had 2 ask dem 3 times b4 dey were willing 2 get out of d hall..haiz..dat 1 call example my foot..d performances was quite funny..esp d pole-dancing 1...but really gt no energy..i mean wen dey perform d dance..d piano n violin playing was okay lar.left d theatrette at 1:20pm..den went 2 hall..den mr sham dismiss our lvl b4 d sec 1s n 2s..yay!!

den jie n edith wanted 2 collect their test-tubes name thingy frm cai er's isabelle's cls..but it was nt ready..so,we went up 2 look 4 ms ng..but qing went hm 1st..cuz she scared she kenna scolding by her mum 4 coming hm late..wen we wanted 2 call ms ng through d intercom system,den ms ng came out of d bathrm..lol..it was dat qiao..den told abt the thing..hehe..wen ms ng heard it,she was quite horrified..n now view d person in a sort of diff type of ways liao..i guess..luckily we told 2day..cuz she was gonna 2 decide who was gonna 2 be in d committee(yes,we still havent promote yet)..n she was gonna 2 discuss it wif d other ms ng...yapz..lucky...
