EXAMS HAVE OFFICALLY STARTED!!!

As usual,I am doing last minute mugging.This exam was worse than usual because I only had a week to study everything.Being that the speech day rehearsals took up most of my time in the week before and after the rehearsals..there was really no mood to study.

Exams officially started on Wednesday for us but for my dear friends(edith,jie and hidayah)..their exams start on Tuesday..haha.okok..i am very evil to suan them like that.

First two papers was English paper 1 followed by MT paper 1.English..i think I screwed the composition and the letter writing. Actually I don’t like writing compositions because there is no material to help me and when I write composition, it must come from my personal experiences or I cant write. This time, I chose “Write about an incident which you were mistaken for someone else”…what I wrote was soo damn unoriginal. Letter writing..didnt have time write a really long one but it was ok-ish.MT..i chose to write an informal and when I told my tution teacher what I wrote about..she was like “Zi juan! You should have wrote the formal letter!”.die die die. The compo was ok lar..hope I can pass.
Next two papers was MT and English paper 2. MT..i think I did ok..there is a good chance of passing but the comprehension..didnt get to finish!! English. I think I will pass with pretty good marks because the paper was relatively easy other than the cloze passage about smoking.
Today..i got social studies paper..only.yahoo! which means I get to go home at 9:30am.woah woah woah! Social studies..there was 7 questions all together and 4 was from source-base and 3 from structured. Source base..the first question was pretty hard so I spent about 20mins doing it and as a result..i didnt do the last question.I chose the merger topic for the structured essay question and I screwed up on the terms of the Malaysia agreement..i only put er already.
4 points instead of 6 and I didn’t elaborate the common market point..well..cant change anything..cuz its ovYap..thats about all..update when exams finish..i am gonna 2 cut myself some slack for a day.

Haha..i am very very content with my birthday presents this year.

The supplementary lessons that I mentioned in my earlier post are not really that bad…especially for Chinese.Lao shi gave us sweets and stuff so its pretty bareable and it had been raining these past few days so its ok.
Mid year revision..started on Literature in which I read through the Gamma Rays book and Chinese..copied down the important words.The rest of the subjects..went through a little revision with the teachers.Hope the week can go sl..ow..ly so that I have enough time to cover the important topics and read through the less important ones.I have a feeling that I am gonna to burn the mid-night oil for these past few days though..haha..

Btw,sorry for the super late entry…hehe…dad’s laptop couldn’t publish so now using school comp to publish

Wow..the blog had not been updated for a long time.
Hehe..sorry guys.
Exams are just around the corner and I barely even started studying in details.
No idea how to get the stuff inside my head..especially the science stuff.

Two big events happened on Friday.
First: Mayflower Secondary School sports day.
Which was held after school at YCK stadium..i don’t get it why don’t they do it during school hours like SC,that way,everyone will not be tired and restless.
Anyway..went to celeste’s house with wei ling,siok huan and of course celeste so that celeste could put her stuff down.Then we walked to sumo house(haha..finally knew where cheng san community center is!)where Cheryl,Yueling and cheryl’s sister had already reserved for us a table.Haha..yueling even made a table sitting arrangement. Then we ordered the food .Awhile later, huiting came. When the food came, we realized that the waiter had written 3 of the orders wrongly. Instead of Rice, the waiter wrote down noodles and we didn’t even realize it.So, we had to send it back and got a scolding..saying that next time they wouldn’t send the food back.Out of all these,there was a good thing..we got free teriyaki(?)cuz student special.
While eating…a friend was telling me to eat faster and all. I know..i know..i am not a little kid anymore so don’t treat me like one…sorry if you are offended.
Then we rushed to AMK mrt station where we met huihui and xiangling on the mrt.After we got off,we ran all the way to YCK stadium. Haha..at that time,we were joking that this was the warm-up for the 1.2km run/jog/walk.
Luckily, we weren’t late if not we will get locked out for a moment then we will have to stay back.A few mins later,we were told to assemble on the grass patch in our classes. 4G attendance was pretty bad. A few mins later, we started doing the 1.2km run/jog/walk in which some people actually ran but kamini,weiling and I walk the whole 3 rounds.After that,the actual events started. I have absolutely NO interest in sports except for netball so I went to reply Kamini’s letter and weiling was updating me on the events. After I finished the letter,I went to get the milo cuz I realized the milo bus had come..hehe. Luckily I did cuz when it was unicorn’s turn to get the milo,mr kwek closed the store in less than 5mins cuz people were getting 2 cups and I was soo near to the stand.darn!
Griffin won the whole thing.No surprise there and Unicorn was in last place.again.
After that,waited with weiling for her dad and he sent me to the MRT station.Thanx!

2nd event of the day:Tiara’s Birthday Party at CPK.
When I reached home..i found lots of girls at my house..turns out my dear sis is bringing her friends out for dinner. I was told to quickly shower and get dressed.By the time I got dressed,they were gone.great. Turns out my mum had sent them there first. Frankly,I wish I had never come along cuz I was very exhausted from sport day and I felt pretty extra there as nobody was talking to me and to make things worse,I am the only none-SCGS girl there. When I couldn’t stand it anymore,I went to call Edith and we talked for a pretty long time.They went through the photo-taking and cake-cutting process without me but I don’t care lar..nobody even realized that I was gone at that time.My mum might have been pretty happy too.

After more photo-taking…we went back to the house and playing blind-man puff in tia’s room. I got caught in the leg by Vanessa but she guessed I was yaoqi..haha.
Btw,among tiara’s friends whom I don’t know..i have the best impression of Kim…cuz we got talking about ghosts on the lift up..hehe.

But maths I had already revised the whole day and one look at the paper make me think of sleep.Hope I will be able to pass though.History and maths study soo hard than test postponed to Wednesday and Thursday.I will not be able to make it for the history test though because I will be eating during that time.

Super good news.I got an A2(22) for my CCA points!! Which means I will get 2 bonus points and it will be a great help! Yahoo!!! All the blood,sweat and tears didn’t go to waste after all…hehe. But most of the guides got A2 too..other than qing and atikah..who I think got A1.but we all deserve it (=.

Don’t know how many rehearsals down..1 to go.At last..my final hope..not to screw up on that day.Wednesday …quite a blur sotong..they sedia already than I haven’t sedia yet.Maybe cuz of the band playing and the commander was too soft.As a result,I got changed to the middle row.Great.Just what I always wanted.Ya right.

The supplementary lessons will officially begin on my birthday and we will stay back everyday till 4:15pm for two alternate weeks or something like that.We will also have to come back to school for extra lessons for the first two weeks of the june holidays. I expected the june holidays situation…but not really the april one.

Its finally the BIG day tomorrow..i am pretty nervous.Pray that it doesn’t rain.I will burnt out tomorrow,surely.
As I will have
-to run 2.4km(maybe)for the monthly run
-march in the parade and in the final rehearsal
-take history test
I am praying that we need not run 2.4km tomorrow…running in plaits is not a pretty sight to see and its pretty uncomfortable too.

Since I will need to put my bag in one of the classrooms downstairs..here’s the plan.
1.Will go down to 4I classroom to put down my bag during recess and take all the necessary stuff with me.
2.Edith will help me put my bag and help me take my packet lunch..while I am taking the history test.
3.Quickly eat so that if we need to start rehearsing at 1:30pm..i wouldn’t die.

Maths test today was ok-ish..didnt know how to do the translation question though and I did a stupid thing..i didn’t write the equation for the symmetry line even though I knew it..dammit!Hope I can pass..i don’t want to have remedial!!!

There seem to be a craze about giving us last year’s or the year before last test papers.

Preparations for the Ns and mid year…is well under ways…

During SEE lesson on Tuesday in which we combined with 4H and 4F
Talked about marriage&breakups..without the guys..they went to the theatrette.
It brought back memories of the talk they made us go through for 3 days after PSLE in P6
Eespecially in the AVA Room..hahaha.Hope they will organize more “combine activity” in the future =)

I’m tired and drained out as usual since the rehearsals started.Juz want to take a long long nap now .
Heard from Mr Ong today that the mid year exams are right after speech day.man..i am soo dead. I haven’t started studying yet and it is 2 weeks away. All I can think of now is sleep,the word studying still haven’t come into mind.
Counting down to speech day currently 3 more rehearsals and 6 more days to go.The progress=not soo well..got a scolding from mr raihan on Tuesday to buck up on our drill cuz if one contingent never perform well then the whole performance will be affected,no matter how well the GOH march.Then the NCC guys went to train the scouts and BB and the NPCC train the St.John and we trained ourselves!lol.i cant believe I am saying this but I had soo much fun marching that day and it felt very refreshing.Mr James Tan took some photos and there were teachers watching..aiya..Soo embarrassing lar. Then they had the wet weather rehearsal..for once,I am not in it! Soo..pretty much most of the sec 4s went off to slack and just talk.Romaine,Weiling,Xinyu,Peck Hui and I were talking about the past years’ night game..ok..weiling did most of the talking.Turns out our nightgame is probably the least scariest cuz the we,the seniors were pretty freaked out and we didn’t have any props with us..haha.

Haha..enough about speech day. I saw Putri(the one from camp FLAG) at the student leaders’ investiture on Tuesday.haha..it was so nice seeing her again! Really didn’t expect to see any camp FLAG friends in that kind of event. So,when we were rehearsing, my head wasn’t so much so on the rehearsal and I messed up the 14 steps and didn’t hear the drums.To make matter worse, there was lots of people seeing our rehearsal. That was extremely embarrassing

Got the exam schedule today..i have got no idea how to cram for the exam with speech day coming up.My parents came back today and they brought home lotsa food.yay!
Not going to have tution today cuz got flag day which is compulsory,from 1:30-6:30pm but I would rather do flag day than to have tution. Maths & science tution damn sian de lor..i buay tahan the teacher also…than she say what if I tomorrow not having tution, will have to consider as 1 lesson..walao..i today than know about the lor..not my fault.anw..i don’t care..i am very tired anw.from speech day,cca,planning..tution not at the top of my priority list anw..guides is and she will have to accept that.

Haha..MY BIRTHDAY IS IN 2 WEEKS!!***


Nothing interesting had happened soo far except for speech day rehearsals..which you guys may or may not count as intresting..lol.These past few weeks had been rehearsals,rehearsals and more rehearsals.Last Friday was the so-called selection cuz they needed people to be at the welcoming reception then they didn’t have enough people so had to choose people from the squad to be in there.Luckily I didn’t get called out,I have to thank my lucky star on that day cuz I was at the back..the last row.So, I think that day I performed better than expected lar…Oh ya,I also lost my school uniform on that day which I still cannot find now.So,I think no hope liao,went to buy a new school skirt which cost me 15 bucks..soo damn ex..

Had chemistry and literature open book test today.didnt manage to finish both papers though cuz I didn’t had enough time..hope chem. can pass*cross fingers*.literature..hm..balan say that she let us complete the paper tomorrow then give us another literature test on Wednesday,I think..which will be a close book one.Today, liang lao shi didn’t come so the whole class went to recess early..hehe.
After school, we had speech day rehearsal immediately which was at 2pm. We did the 14 steps thing first,the NPCC senior asked us to count the steps.Pretty embarrassing lar,I think the GOH people and the flag bearers were staring at us,we did that around 3-4 times then the real rehearsal begin. The first rehearsal, I almost did everything wrong..man..pretty peiseh. Second one was perfect but the 3rd was bad..messed up at the 14 steps part cuz I don’t know why,started marching by the right foot…hehe. the last one..know all the stuff liao,so it went pretty smoothly. The drum beats to march for the 14 steps changed though..so,its like two drum beats before we can march then at the march pass also. The first drum “song”(haha..dont know how to explain le,this is the closest I could get) is for the GOH and flag bearers and the second drum “song is for us,the supporting contingent. So,got to remember that..haha. Another thing, we received our gloves today..we are reusing the white cloves the seniors(yinghui’s batch and chenpei’s batch)used for the 2004 speech day cuz they were the GOH that year.hehe..soo excited! Can take the “white hands” picture again like the seniors did last time..haha. but have to wash lar..very dirty and dusty cuz 2 years never use liao,don’t know why this year supporting contingents must use gloves but its cool with me =) Forgive me, I am being hyper today,for no reason..got lots of energy.haha.Oo..after the rehearsal, mr raihan said that we were very good and we were the only UG to get compliments from him..hehe..GOOD WORK GUYS!

Oh ya..my mum and dad are out of the country! Yay! Mum is in HK and dad is Jakartaso I can have the whole house to myself…hehe Oo..another thing..i got my Ipod..hehe..it is an Ipod video and it is white colour..yahoo! But can only get it after my birthday.

Under all the good stuff,it was raining cats and dogs when I was going home just now..now my uniform,shoes and socks are soaking wet!! Hope I don’t catch a cold or something..which I don’t think I will cuz I don’t want to miss the investiture tomorrow which sounds cool…they are inviting almost all the prestigious schools and even RJC councillors and the items that they are performing sounds very cool, from what shiyama said. They will be dancing to a JJ Lin song and a rainbow connection called Yu Jian Ai Qing..very nice song.Oh ya..also qing is dancing in it..so,don’t want to miss it...haha. I don’t know why people don’t look forward to speech day rehearsals, but I do..harhar…quite weird eh? I feel a great sense of satisfaction after the speech day rehearsal finish and when the actual speech day ends,I feel a sense of achievement..haha.Come to think of it, I never seen the full speech day thing in process. Had been in the parade since sec 1..lol..nvm..sec 5..if I not too involved in guides..maybe can see the whole thing..
