Today was a very easy and relaxing day because we had English paper today, both paper 1 and 2 and on top of all of that, we get to go home early ( 12:10nn) and there is NO supplementary lessons! Yahoo! How I wish everyday was like this.haha.

We had English paper 1 first, namely composition and letter writing. Speaking of letter writing, I totally forgot that we had to memorize our formats and all until I got to school and did last minute work.haha.Turned out we had to write a speech on recycling encouraging the pupils in our school to participate in the recycling campaign and we had to pretend to be the head councillor.lol. For composition, I chose to write about a time when someone greatly let you down. Wrote about last year’s incident which I don’t think I need to elaborate.

Then comprehension after the 9:45-10:30am recess.I got a shock when I turned over the paper. The vetter was our principal.OMG!! It was okay la..passage A was about noise and how it affects us and so on and so forth and passage B was on foot-binding. It was pretty gross, to tell you the truth.

I realized the bad thing about sitting at the back of the class, near the door. It is that the teachers who are inspecting are always soo near you and sometimes they talk near the door..so..and the outside now greatly affect you cuz the door needs to be open, I guess. But it was pretty good today since it rained and all and the weather was soo nice!
Book fair tomorrow in school! Nice! I wanna buy the books!! And tomorrow can see Jie they all liao since there is no more papers till the 14th so it is back to normal school hours for us =)

Had the first two papers today for prelims today and I have a gutting feeling that I sorta screw my ss paper big time. And Mrs E is expecting me to get A1. damn it.
I spotted the wrong topics for section B, was learning Northern Ireland like mad. Turned out Diplomacy& Deterrence, Education and Health came out. I took Education. I just hope I wouldn’t be killed when the results come out.
Chinese was okay. Surprising. To be on the safe side, I took gong han inside of si han since I memorized the spacing and what to write already and it was something on praising a nurse at a hospital. Yeah..something like that. Then, for compo, wrote the continuous composition. But the oral part in the afternoon was bad. The conversation, I mean. Almost the same situation as the English oral I had the other time expect that the passage was pretty easy.
Oh ya, we were suppose to have to have our exams in the hall but I got no idea why it was moved to the classroom but I am not complaining cuz the classroom is way better then the hall.

it is way more cooler-fans are in the middle of the room.
Less..distraction.In the hall, you can hear the teachers walking around and all.
The hall makes me nervous.haha.

Lol…this weekend is gonna to be a maths/history weekend. Not gonna to go out at all.Just hope the info get drilled into my brains especially history.

And didn’t talk to Edith or Jie that much or at all today. Sorry guys. U gonna bear with it for two weeks or so…busy revising.hehe.

Prelims are only 2 days away!!
But it seems like the chers forgot about it.
Ms B is gonna to have a lit forum with us tomorrow and tomorrow.5-6 names will be taken out from the plastic bags and they will have to share with us what they have researched and everyone will have to question them. I just hope that I am not one of those people.
And Mr Ong finally came back from reservist.yahoo! TYS work though..is piling up.
And I am wondering how I am gonna to find the time to study SS and Chinese and do homework. God save me. I am stressed.

On the revision side, I finally finished the chapter on development on the 21st century and a few more pages till I finish the chapter on Merger&Separation, my favourite chapter J.Just hope, I can finish the others within the next two days or else I am gonna to be soo dead. Chinese…since its paper 1..not much stuff to learn, I think I am good with the gong han and stuff and the zuo wen..hmm..should be okay la. Cher hinted that it will be a topic on bullying or something.

Oh ya..we had a history source-based test today, during supplementary lesson. My answers were all pretty short.haha.Since the marks were like 5,6,6,8. So,figured out it should be all right. Had maths lesson in the computer room again..ahh..the wonders of the air-con, I was sitting right under one J.

The weather here is soo humid and hot! Meaning tomorrow PE is a sure torture session. Oh ya…I got bronze for NAPFA. Haha. Mr Ong says that a lot of people are falling ill and he says cuz now is summer so its especially hot. So..don’t get sick people!

I think my sis changed her blog address to god knows what. Nvm..i am sure I am able to find the link soon..after the prelims. She is happily making her blogskins and changing out blogs while I am here studying. But it seems pretty nice with pics of Alberta and May-Ee.

Today..the guys in my class abit siao. Haha..a little self obsessed with themselves. Took tons of pictures with my camera until the camera no battery liao. Then poor ms wang, it was her last day and the guys were all like forcing her to take pictures with them but she only took one la. Haha..it was quite funny la.
Then we went to computer lab for maths! Wow…2 periods of air-con man..it was very cooling. I though we were gonna to play computer.haha. It was a pretty good change, no fixed desk to sit in.hahaha.
Oh ya..had lit test today, open book test on “the long distance runner” and “naema disparue”. The test time was pretty short but the questions were quite okay la.

And..i kinda need to clarify some thing with someone..mainly cw.
Haha.cw..i know you are scared of me now la but since you block me I cannot say anything to you. I though that you were erm…wise enough not to come to the campfire,frankly cuz I though that you will know what will happen when you come. If you think I like you, no la..i just want to be friends with you.serious. No other motives at all.guides honour. Just asking..but why did you block me? Cuz of the campfire sabo-ing thing or something else? I also didn’t do anything to you.haha. Oh ya..i come to your class every recess is to look for edith, jie ying they all..not you la.Relax la. Yesterday’s campfire I think was considered very successful. Lots of seniors came.30 of them.suppose to be 31 but didn’t see May ma’am at all.I think to them, it was more like a reunion than a campfire bah. Today we had very good weather, it rain in the morning/early afternoon and didn’t rain at all at night.yay! If not all the sec 3s effort in the fire was wasted.
Before the campfire started, met Jie to eat early dinner at around 5 but I couldn’t eat at all,too eager.haha.I think we practically searched the whole AMK central but still couldn’t find any. After that, we met with Edith then Da then Rachel. Luckily there wasn’t any sub lesson today or I would have been wipe out and also, I wouldn’t have any interest.lol..couldn’t wait for school to finish today XD. The gateway was surprisingly stable..haha. During the first part of the campfire, the mfguides was pretty unenthu but gradually it became better and better. Lol..talked to very few seniors, the rest, pretty shy to talk to because haven’t seen them in a looong time.Xueying Ma’ am was pretty much the only one who approach me, the rest didn’t.haha.This campfire also had also a lot of drama, at least in my case. 1st, Edith spotted CW( though he wouldn’t come) then during Cannibal King, Aisha practically sabo-ed me, calling my name into the microphone(not that I am angry with her) then the sec 3s NCC guys and Edith and Jie drag me and CW onto the stage. Luckily manage to escape.lol.Told u guys that NCC and GG are damn pro at sabo-ing de, to us, its an art.lol.Then Edith, Jie and Da took my hp to started typing sms to wh and cw.Then my hp got “lost”. At that moment, Huixian and Weiling spotted lester and drag me over to him and of cuz zhao la, don’t want history to repeat itself you know.
The performances were great. The Mayflower brownies were soo cute!! The Alumni’s performance was great, can really see the chemistry they have between the 4 of them and their dancing was really good.Nurul’s High school musical ‘breaking free”was nice too. Except there was way too songs and no games and I think that was the reason why some schools left in the when andreas was singing tong hua.Luckily for the NCC and NPCC, if not, we could have stayed back till 11pm liao. Oh ya, Mr kwek was really cool yesterday, very enthu.haha.Another surprise, Ms lin and Ms chew came.wow! I hope PE won’t be soo bad on Thursday then. Haha. You know, on the account of the campfire we put on.haha.

Sec 3s…just want to say..you guys did a terrific job!! Lol..Train your sec 1s to be more enthusiastic, expose them to more campfires and such. This brings to the last campfire I have as a Girl Guide.

Today must be a day of pure fate.
Saw Sng Weiwen on tv commenting on some stuff in the LIVE JIVE programme on the bus.She matured a lot.
Then saw Priscilla Ong getting on the bus I think near the prata place there and when she got off the bus at Peirce sec, I wanted to hit myself because I didn’t have the guts to go down and talk to her.typical me.
That ends the encounter with my childhood friends.

Today..i was a bundle of nerves because I was gonna to take my N levels English(thank god) oral. I couldn’t keep still during the whole day. It brings back memories of my PSLE oral..man..how long ago was that…but still.After school, couldn’t eat any lunch, then, in fear of being late, rushed to the I&E studio, luckily I wasn’t late. I was number four in the queue. It was plain nerve-wrecking. Shimama and I were reading through the passages that Ms.B gave us and it didn’t do us any good. My turn came by in a flesh, I was given 10 minutes to read the passage and see the photograph. The photograph was so diffcult and I could only though up of 1-4 sentences which is like very little and right after the 10 minutes was over, I was called in because Alvin was pretty fast.

Inside the room, can I tell you that it makes u even more nerve-wrecking because there is only 3 people inside. After the picture and passage was over, came the conversation. It took very long, the examiner kept on asking me questions and I was thinking, what did I say wrong?? Anyway…pretty sure I screw up pretty badly. I talked the first thing that came to my mind,guides. I was pretty much babbling away in a nervous state.

Mayflower Girl Guides campfire is in 2 days!! 2 days!! My god..time sure passes very fast. Tomorrow the scouts are building the gateway(no offend but I wouldn’t dare to cross it ). On the big day itself, at least 8 seniors are coming back!! I know that that doesn’t seem a lot but I think it is quite a lot. I hope more seniors will come though. After all, u guys pretty much nurtured us and I want to show you guys what kind of juniors that you guys nurtured. Pretty much telling you guys that you guys did a great job. Hehe. I will bring my camera.yay! In order to capture all the moments. Always the camera guy..haha.I just wanna see the proposal..see whether it is up to standard or not.haha. On Friday, Edith,jie and I will be eating dinner together then I think we will be buying lightsticks(not too sure yet, don’t get your hopes up people*grin madly*) then go to school. Friday..madness day. Yahoo!! Last campfire to party away to, lets make it as good as it can get!! Sec 3s, you can do it! Jiayou! All your hard work will pay off, just need to work together. Campfire roxs!!!! Love campfires!!


Got my prelim schedule already which indicates that I must start studying NOW. I have no mood to study social studies and the paper is on the 28th ..i am a dead meat. Shall try to get interested in social studies and physics. From now onwards, it’s the “burying your head in books” period. It will officially finish in October.

Went to Whitley scouts campfire yesterday night.
It was very good.But there was one tiny little problem.
Edith, Hidayah and Jie weren’t there so I was pretty lonely. It didn’t help that Qing,Hx they all were in one gang together.Don’t know since when they all soo close de. Nvm. None of my business. Better not comment.
Haha..at last bond with the sec 1s lor.haha..my dear sec 1s! lovelies! They were soo sweet!! Yinghan even sent me the click 5’s “ catch your wave”.lol. At the campfire, was sms-ing furiously to wh, edith and jie.haha..sms company is better than nothing. Thanx guys!! Before the campfire started, the sec 4s and andreas were already crazy, we were trying to teach them the songs and such. Not really that successful but before that happened, Aisha,Lianyi and me were rocking to the songs of high school musical! Love it!btw, the school reminded me of MF’s campus 1 and 2.seriously. how nice. Jie didn’t go cuz she went for NDP preview!! Lucky girl!!

The campfire started on the sad note because the campfire is dedicated to the remembrance to one of the fellow scout, Lionel Lin who passed away. He was only 25!! The video they made for him was so touching!!! They even wrote and sang a song for him. 1,2,3…Aww!!!
After that, everyone went crazy.haha. The MCs were good. Then the skit. It was very funny, was laughing like crazy.haha. Then the newspaper game!! Since Jolene wasn’t around, we sabo-ed qing lor.haha. Poor qing. Went she and the guy got the hugging stage( since the newspaper was soo tiny), everyone started taking photos.lol..including the scouts from some other school and one of them even said what, it was will be good on youtube. Oh my…I hope it wouldn’t appear on youtube. Then the friendship dance.haha..very funny la,the sec 1s don’t dare to dance with the scouts, I guess its normal. Then, a few games and songs and the campfire finished. Hm..i am still wondering why they didn’t sang “linger” when the campfire was finishing. Nvm. Maybe they forgot??Oh ya..i saw yulei while getting the refreshments.haha.nice. at last..someone I know.
Went home by taxi since the whole the whole family was still in Chinatown eating dinner and I was too tired to join them. Hahahaha…went home and found that Uncle Budi and Aunty Yati was crashing for the night.haha..its fine with me la. As long as the usual people don’t crash with us can liao. They just got back from their honeymoon in Australia. After eating dinner, straight away go and play computer.haha. Talked with weiling about soccor bets. I lost 3 bucks to weiling!! Shouldn’t bet with her with the Italy vs France match later I loss more money. Then smsed and talked on msn to wh till around 2am. Hehe..woke up at 3 and went back to sleep. No more energy. But I swear I will watch tonight’s match.

Haven’t touch in this delicate topic for ages and I think its time I should.

I know..i am not very good connecting with people. When you put me in a room with a complete stranger, it will be very awkward…there will be silence. I am just not a people person, I would rather stay home and read a book then go to a party filled with people I don’t know. I would have to warn you, sometimes I am a loner. I need the peace and quiet so that my mind can think. Maybe that’s why I like the night better then the day.

I <3 my guides friends…Edith,Jie,Da they all.Just that I am scared one day they will decide to abandon me because they find me too boring or something.I think I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. After all, they went through Mawai camp, camp FLAG, the guides training camp and the March camp with me. Not forgetting the late night planning for amazing race,the various proposals and the emotional rollercoaster ride we went through last year. I wouldn’t even think about taking advantage of you guys.

hehe..not very good at this topic..will type more when inspiration hits.

Lost my sec 3 social studies book. I don’t know put where liao and the prelims are on the 28th of July and I haven’t even study yet. Great.Wonder where I put the ss book.. the locker don’t have, my house there the study area also cannot find. Hope can find soon then can study. If not have to buy a new book.ahh!!Oh ya, I put a poster of the High School Musical in my locker after school. =)
Went off to eat lunch with edith,jie and joan but edith and I didn’t really eat la, just drink only. Then talk about soccor there, I think that it will be a close fight between Italy and Germany because both of them are pretty strong.Haha..went to bet also la.Went back to class but found out that Mr G had disappeared. Since Mr G didn’t come for the supplementary lesson, everybody zhao home lor.haha.but da and nurul ask me to help them soak the firewood for the second soaking.haha..actually if they didn’t ask, I would have also helped also la. While Romaine was opening up the recycled kerosene, everyone were crapping and talking shop but man, it feels good. Remain me of the sec 2 campfire preparation.haha.

The sec 3s are doing quite okay except that there is no communication. Everything also Jolene know then they don’t know then the duties don’t know why soo mixed up. Instead of the secretaries not pasting up the meeting schedule(time,where to meet etc),it is the commander doing it lor then the contact list is not even made yet and they are also not sure of what activities they want to do yet. But they just had their first COH la, so, can forgive them but contact list need to be done asap. Then they all also quite poor thing, kenna boss around by someone( not naming who) during guides meeting. Poor thing la. That person extra and also quite weird la. When she was in power, never help with anything then when she step down, she want to boss juniors around. Weird. Don’t care her la. Juniors, ignore what she say kay, the information not accurate one you know.


Lol..seems like everyone is crazy about high school musical. Hehe..nice!! <3 it! Now my dvd and cd is on demand.Everyone want to borrow..lol. oh ya..must let edith see it so she will understand what everyone is crazying about.haha. Zac Efron and Corine Bleu are cute! But Zac is 19 and Corine not soo bad la, 17. lol..but sure got a lot of girls go after them you know. Oh ya..Vanessa is half-asian(half Caucasian, half Filipino)cool!! So,that’s where she gets her looks from.haha.High School Musical Rox! Germany Roxs too! There will be a High School Musical 2.Can’t wait!!

Confession: I can’t get along with my family. There is like no connection, no chemistry. Nothing. The things like guides that meant the world to me means nothing to them. Funny that we are related by blood right? I feel kinda uncomfortable when I am with them except for my cousins, feels kinda funny with the adults. Being not on the same wavelength with them seems like an illegal thing with them and I feel like they don’t TRY to understand me, as a teenager,not as kid. Whatever, saying it feels good here even though I seems evil to do that. My dad changed the damn password just now when I have a fight with both of them about my friends coming over to watch high school musical and cuz they say its family time on Sunday but get this, my mum is flying to Jakarta today for my great-grandma funeral.So..what family time?? They just don’t practice what they preach. As usual.

Another thing, my dad found out about my blog. Horray. Ya right. Now, nothing is private anymore. It seems like I have nothing to call my own anymore, everything also must report to them.like I would like that. They don’t know half the things that is happening to me, mainly cuz they are school and guides stuff.

Music..i found, is one of my channel for venting all my frustration and whatever feelings I have. Another is guides, but now since my term is over, I can’t do that anymore.

Campfire is in 2 weeks time. Man..i can’t wait!! I think that all the sec 4s will be the backstage crew..nice! I think that the sec 3s are doing a good job doing all the stuff considering the theme is a hard one. I hope it will be successful and I hope that nothing bad like the sound system going bad or anything. Oh and maybe some seniors coming back for the campfire, that will mean a lot to me.

N levels English oral starts next Tuesday and N level Chinese oral starts on the 17th of July. Nervous man. Never been good at talking,especially Chinese, I can’t read lots of words. Sure die one. Also, need to start studying, the social studies is like next month.
