I had a totally awesome teacher’s day!! Well, we didn’t have any lessons on that day so it was pretty cool but I had to go to the theatrette during the 3rd period because I had gotten 9 points for my prelims. Mr Wee told us the usual stuff about people being unplaced after the Os then he told us that we were kinda in the danger zone cuz we got like 8-10 points and we can make it to the Os but we will struggle. Oh ya, the morning assembly concert was cool! Both performances was perfecto and superb but the afternoon one was well..not soo good. They let down my Troy Bolton and the High school musical cast when they danced along to We’re all in this together. Another thing, Yvonne Ma’am came back for teacher’s day and I got pretty excited when I saw her enter the hall.Typical junior reaction.haha. I got my report slip. 3rd in class-tied with Dickson and 26th in the whole level, not really good,still got lots of work to do.

After school, Shiyama, Amala and I went to find Mrs Ess for the social studies notes. Turned out that she was in the library revising it with some people.After that, Kamini and I pon SS remedial to go back to MCS.hehe. It’s the only remedial soo far that I pon so forgive me. We quickly went to MCS and didn’t expect to find anyone from our year there but we got a BIG surprise that day. When we went to the security post, we saw our junior there,mayflower and MCS junior.haha.The sign near the guard post said something like : “dear ex-pupils of marymount convent school, in order not to disturb the pupils(or something like that)….. you can only stay in the canteen,parade square and foyer”. I mean wth!! Even MFSS is kinder then this. The foyer was crowded with ex-pupils of every school you could imagine. We then went to the canteen and spotted the usual crowd of pupils from our year whom we totally don’t like but came back at the same time every year as we did. I need not say names, u guys who were with me should know who. We then spotted Bernice Heng , Garene and Huixian at one of the tables. We stick with them throughout the whole time we were there. Okay, with Garene. We tried to go up to the staff room but the stupid OM spotted us and signaled for us to come down. Let me tell you, we weren’t the only who tried.haha. Like 30 other people tried. So, we went to the foyer and we started cursing the OM, Garene was saying stuff like we should shot him and it was totally funny and some juniors from both MFSS and MCS came to us and started talking to us. Nice! Turned out that almost all of our sec 1 MFSS juniors are in band, none in dance or npcc or girl guides..hehehe…pretty typical like our batch. Only Amanda and I are in UG, Garene in Mordern Dance, Kamini in Enterprise and the rest( the other 5)are in Band. After that was finish, we went over to join the sec 4s(which mostly consist of ex-6B pupils) and talked and talked and crapped. Angelina and Rachel joined us later and people also started coming in and I was getting a headache, trying to remember their names cuz the face clicked but the names doesn’t. Lots of them looked familiar but I couldn’t place them. Oh ya, I spotted an old ballet friend of mine, Theora there but I didn’t go and say hi or anything, also, I guess she couldn’t recognize me anymore and I was wondering what was she doing here in MCS cuz her primary school is like rosyth. .

They then announced that we had to go to the canteen and all the people who graduated in 02 somehow sat in the same place. To tell ya the truth, It was pretty awkward. Garene then saw Mrs Khoo, My p4 form teacher. Aww…miss her soo much!! Everytime I go back to MCS, I will always be on the lookout for her but she wasn’t there the last time I went back. Anyway, three of us went there and she was so nice! She gave us the yogurt thing and we talked! She is still like the same after 6 years but get this. She is the mother of 2 now, 1 boy and 1 girl!! Woah!!! We saw Ms Tien afterwards, yup..good ole ms tien, still a very nice teacher. She didn’t teach me though.

We waited for Ms Fernandez but she didn’t come down cuz she was at the library but we couldn’t go up so we went to toilet and left with Bernice and Garene.

That ends my teacher’s day celebrations.Now here’s my teacher’s day tribute.

MR GANA- for being a great form teacher in sec 2 and now!!!! You make maths lesson fun with your stories and more =)

MRS KHOO- Thanks for being such a kind and patient teacher 6 years ago!! Thanx for also defending our class =)

MRS SELVA-Thanks for being such a great history teacher all these years! You are the only one that can control our class and for that, I respect you.

MS NG and MDM NG-Thanks for just being our guides teachers, I know how much stress we put through during the time we were committee =) good luck with the new committee!!

MRS ESS-for tolerating our class and patiently teach us SS and defending our class.

MS BALAN-thanks for making us do our best in English and literature and giving us harder papers and making us ace it =)
