Life’s been super hectic and busy, tired but happy. On Friday, the CTT (Cultural and Teaching Team) stayed back in school to have our team meeting and before that, the car wash.
Our car wash was pathetic we only wash 4 cars and a set of tires. It’s was our fault la, we didn’t put in enough effort to convince the teachers to buy the coupons. There was a lot of If’s at the end of the day. Only Adeline was successfully in selling all 5 of her coupons. Congrats =D .I know I am not suppose to say this but I had a lot of fun at the car wash. Really, I don’t mind having another one now that I know which teachers to sell to( the list is in my head already.haha). After the car wash at around 6+, we started on our team meeting at the conference room near the GO, it was cool la, being the first time I entered that room. We ordered pizza and begin the meeting. Oh, Lionel, Lester and Mr Gana sat in. We discussed the usual stuff, mainly handouts. After that, we stuffed ourselves silly with Hawaiian and seafood pizzas, sweet n spicy chicken drumlets ,garlic bread and pepsi. It was good! Oh ya, we also moved the computers from an area near the d&t room to the d&t room. The room where they stored the computers was very cooling la. I am envious-of the computers.
Saturday morning, went to school for the real meeting at 8. We presented our updates and went through our goals and all. Got a half scolding and half nagging from Lionel for the car wash but we deserved la,as I said earlier. I went to eat lunch with Andreas and Adeline and ate a sinful Char Kway Teow for lunch. Andreas treated us to drinks! Ty! Haha, I realized that the girls are always getting treated, first, Mr gana after the injections and then Andreas. So, maybe, that’s the perks of being 1 of 5 girls going for the trip. After lunch, we went off to the d&t room to move the computers into the boxes to be shipped to PBP( Palau Belakang Padang) and it was hard work. We quickly rushed off to change for the parents’ conference. When we entered that conference room again, the atmosphere was noticeably different, it become formal. It was good, I guess. My parents are still laughing at me for my inability to speak bahasa Indonesia and for not being able to cook. Need to take a crash course in both. But, I will survive. My mum noticeably points out that the whole crew kinda depends on the 3 of us(Adeline, Byran and I) , that’s kinda pressuring la. But I notice something similar for the Indonesian-chinese who live in Singapore for a long time, when we speak, it’s always a rojak of 3 languages. Chinese, English and Bahasa Indonesia.Okay, its 1am, got to go to bed.
Aku cinta dreams 5. Really.
