Wow. tomorrow is graduation. 1 month to prom night. And not enough time to say goodbye to everyone. What can I say, this year turned out to be far from what I had expected. I came into mf this year thinking I will be downright miserable cos my good friends from guides wouldn’t be there for me anymore, as they been for the past 4 years but now..I am a different person.I had a great year..all thanx to....

5Gallant-a class I learnt to love over the course of 3 years,I can’t believe that I’ve known some of you guys since sec 1! But I think we only became close this year. The 25 survivors, 20 guys and 5 girls. I never expected 5G to be like this in sec 3. The guys have grown up, being mature, lame-er and also naggy-er. Classes had never been boring with Shaun around, coming up with songs and whats-not to entertain us and which I think really bonded us as a class together. Lam and Dennis, they are forever nagging at the girls, which is kinda nice, sometimes. Shiyama! My class partner! Couldn’t have gone through this year without you! Thank you for tolerating my stories about dreams5(I know it can get kinda boring =D)and for having a really lame sense of humour. You know, my pencil box and your bag are the same..haha..and I will miss your operatic-singing yawning cos it downright entertaining. DK! My English class mate(although you never did turn up for a single lesson XD), I will really miss your gentleman-like kindness and thanx for letting me copy your work during physics class sometimes, but I know you don’t mind,right?haha. We’ve got to survive physics class, somehow =D Lam! Never fails to nag at me when I see you on the bus, most mornings and sometimes when we go home. Dennis! My fellow dreamer and fortunately, classmate! I know we don’t talk about dreams5 much in class but cos of that, we’ve become much closer. Also, the guy who is a rich gentleman and never fails to say: “Let’s go do something! I pay!”HAHA.Ms Balan! Our beloved form, English and Literature teacher! Your trademark words of “Now!”, “Don’t speak in Mandarin/Stop speaking in Mandarin!” and “Next!” will be missed! And your Literature movies too, like “Dead poets society” which opened a new world of Literature to us. I will miss your sense of humor, cos it never fails to crack us up. I will miss 5G’s way of spending recess, with our lights turned off and the music blasting. And Mr Ong, Selvii(Mrs Selva) and Mrs Ess’s lessons, always loads of fun too. 5G “grew up” with Mr Ong’s ghost stories( you see, he told them to us from sec 3 all the way to mid sec 4..every lesson), Mrs Ess’s stories and humour and Selvii’s nagging. I will miss all of that.

This year, I grew up a little more and grown a little bit more wiser and then learnt to laid back a little, and let the juniors make their own mistakes.

Guides- March camp! I know it was a tough time for all of us, but whats good that come out of it all is that the sec 4s(and of cos me)bonded through a different way. Because of it, I’ve grown closer to Cheryl(my nightwalk partner! Blasting Farenheit songs all through the night so that we wouldn’t be scared =D Remember the NCC guys who were doing night duty? Damn funny la! And the disgusting drink! And our station, on the 3rd floor =D), Feather, Lala, Nurul and quite a few more of my sec 4s juniors. Only this year did I manage to get to know you guys a lot better, but better late than never! Oh! And our camp tee-with my name on mine! <3 color="#ff0000" size="5">Speech day 07! Yay! We did it! None of us fainted! And our sarcastic jokes afterwards while having that delicious buffet! Guides campfire 07!Fashion District! Coming back to school for cf prep, soaking and brushing the firewood with peck hui;seeing the fashion show rehearsal; staying back with Addie, Jolene, Lianyi and Khong Jiayi to finish up the songs, the emcee script and then lunch with Lianyi and Jiayi after that.And that night, chanel and nurul singing and our hongdou performance! I am soo proud of it !You guys had never excluded me out jz cos I’m in sec 5, and for that, thanks, really. Bougainvillea! My beloved patrol! We’re famous for being having people in the patrol that cheeks turned red easily.HAHA.my patrol mates. Amelia.chenpei.felicia.chanel.khong jiayi.fongning.yinghan.wanxin.vivian lai.romaine.lixin.All there, past and present-or rather, those I can remember =D. GGS carnival! Sweet Heaven! Singing along to the songs blasting from the sound system and basically going mad. Our..Pizza!cookies(still can remember the sinful double chocolate cookies)! Celeb stuff! Personalise Keychains! Working full shift with Chanel, Lala and Nurul ! Soo fun! The little reunion with Andreas and Addie… super hilarious! Bumping into Andreas at the song booth =D! Mdm Ng buying us goodies after the whole carnival ended =D! Guides had always managed to keep me busy during June, but for all it worth, it was worth all the while.

Then, next to the chaos of mugging and keeping up with the pace of guides and its happening, something unexpected happened, something like,

DREAMS 5-Return to Riau Island!CTT team! POISEIDON(or rather POISAIDEN XD)! 4 wonderful months;9 amazing, out-of the world,life-changing, indescribable days;18 amazing people-lester.EMPRESS ANDREAS.alan.kin peng.fred.lion-el.yew choon.mr gana.ADDIE.LIANYI.XIAODENNIS.MIAOMIAO.chinhow.mingxuan.GATSBY BOY.emo. wilfred.siong hui.yingjie. After soo much, I really thank you guys for everything and all that wonderful memories for me to look back on. Ah well, I don’t have to write much, you guys should know what I mean. But still, I am soo darn proud of all of us and I love you guys(how could I not? )!!

Then, there’s my friends, the ones that I can’t bear to leave the most come Oct 11th. Some of them I have known them for years; some were really really unexpected.

Kamini- After 8 years, I just really want to thank you for being there for me and just being you la.from going through the (maths) turmoil and understanding me so well, as only an EX-MCS/MF girl can. love you!Btw, Mt.Everest ROCKS!

Edith-thanks, for the 4 wonderful years in guides, couldn’t have done it without you,fellow secretary! For staying up with me in sec 3 to type out the minutes, proposals so on and so forth till 1am.For being such a great person to crap with. Ah,yes, matchmaker too.mastermind of all that cf sabo-ings. Jie-thanks for all that late night chatting and for making the effort to keep in touch well after your graduation. For treating me when my wallet is on a diet. For understanding how I feel about dreams, for your constant encouragement.love ya!

Addie-for all that adventure from April till July, I couldn’t have gone through dreams5 without you. For milo and teh peng.for sitting through countless Saturdays meetings with me. Gatsby boy-thanks for the late night last minute shopping days before dreams.for scaring me about the logistics list the day before prep camp. For all your lame jokes;for singing the song that got you your nick in the first place;for doing the translation of “Lets learn all about wind/water”;for all that memories and being such a good friend. :D

Lianyi-for being such a great cook. For all that gossip sessions. For being such an innocent and sweet girl. For allowing me to drag you to dreams5 in the first place. For staying friends long after dreams is over. And for being you la.

Miaomiao-for all that screenshots you did for Microsoft words and paint. For coming to all that Fridays meetings(CTT couldn’t have done it without you :D). For “tolerating” Andreas.
