The figures for orientation
13-People who came for the orientation, I am guessing half of my class pon orientation.
5-China Chinese(Cheryl,Kiki,Tina,Joseph and I forgot the last one, they have Chinese names but they want to be called by their English, I am cool either way though)
2-Vietnamese(Hai and Dat-they have longer names but almost impossible for me to pronounce,much less pronounce.)
2-Indians(Swetna and Vikram)
2-Indonesians(Vachry-Pronounce Fah-ri and me)
1-Singaporean(Joel)
1-Burmese turned Singaporean(Ronald)
In the morning had academic and admin talk given to us by the programme executive and 1 of the lecturers, Mr Lai, who to me, seems like a cross between Mr George and Prem, strange, I know. But he’s more towards Prem than Mr George.Hopefully,my experience with Prem will help if I end up in his class this year. In the afternoon, we had a talk on Student Affairs and SC. And 2 ice-breaker games-1 in the morning,1 in the afternoon.
And the worst possible case scenario happened, 2 of my camps will clash with each other.mati la. The Guides camp and the “02 FO” camp, the “02 FO” camp will be from the 30-31st of May and Guides will be from the 30-1st of June. Funny how I am organizing one and participating in the other, at times like these, I wish I could split myself into 2. These camps also mark the start of my crazy June holidays schedule, as usual.
And somehow, I ended up hanging out with the guys, Ronald and Vachry to be specific. I am guessing cos Vachry is Indonesian and from Jakarta too and is a year younger than me so I can relate to him and maybe cos he sat across me in orientation and Ronald sat beside me in orientation. Either that, or being with the boys(from 5Gallant’07 I mean) for 3 years helped.
