MF Scouts campfire was da BOMB! Finally seeing Miaomiao, Yingjie, Sionghui, Chinhow, the rest of the dreamers and the MF Rovers was damn awesome man. The icing on the cake was seeing Addie, never did expect her to come. :D You kind of stop hoping for any type of reunion after a period of time, so when you see all of them in 1 place, it’s the closest thing to a dream come true. What’s even nicer was I saw some nat camp people too, 2 from MFNPCC and the rover emcee whose from Serangoon Eagles Scout Group, the xiang something guy.

Hendarto and Lionel were the emcee for the campfire, but Chinhow, Amos and 1 other scout emcee for the 1st part of it(later i learnt from Hazel that it was to drag the time cos the GOH havent arrive yet), with their old man and chicken jokes and Lionel with Hendarto aka“Justice Char Siew Bao” for the rest of the campfire. I never expected Lionel to be the emcee also, mainly cos he doesn’t like to talk, kinda expected Fred. But he was damn lame la, with Hendarto aka “Justice Char Siew Bao”, imagine this scene, the 2 emcees, 1 dress like a magician in all black-Lion-el and another dress like a chinese opera character, that’s Justice Char Siew Bao exploring an underwear(smelling it and all), cos it was suppose to be 1 of the evidence from a murder scene where an ah pu ne ne died(that’s yew choon I think .LOL.). I vaguely remember a few lines, from Lionel, “the murder was committed by the murderer la,who else?”.HAHA.and “wa!every murder scenes must have knife one, okay la, not all,but most, don’t know why also.”. Oh oh and I just remembered, Lester and someone having a dialogue in an Hong Kong accent, omg,that was really really funny. Also, Hazel playing the chao ah lian and dancing to an Indian dance with Mr Gana.HAHAHA. And Yingjie and the rest of the scouts doing backup dancing.

The cause of ah pu ne ne’s death? Allergy to sotong, because his niece aka chao ah lian feed him some and he rashed to death.HAHAHA.soo lame! This is soo like YA conference’s murder plot, in which the bride had a severe allergic reaction to strawberries and after touching one, she died because of the reaction.

I embarrassed myself at the campfire again,haha, nothing new. That’s why I’ve got such a thick skin.LOL. my dearest alumni sabo-ed me for the “bird, stone and paper” game. The bird is the scissors, where we have to put 1 leg up and flap our arms, stone is the mummy position, put our arms in a cross on our chest and paper is spreading our arms out and shaking it. I managed by some miracle to pull myself into the finals, me against this scouts guy. And I lost to him. HAHA. But it was fun. Oh yes, the guides(my girls) shouted at me , “Jiayou Putri Ma’am” during the game. I am not shocked, I just don’t know whether to feel happy or to suspect whether they are just trying to act it out in front of everybody. Since you can’t just ignore the elephant in the room.

The sweet MF Scouts Group gave us a souvenir, and I took it home! It says down there “Crime Scene. Do not cross.Mayflower Guides Alumni”. Also, long after the campfire ended, we went to explore the Guides Room/Scout’s Den/MF storage room and IT WAS DAMN CLEAN AND YOU CAN ACTUALLY WALK IN IT. That’s saying something cos the room is usually so packed with stuff that you can barely walk in it and now, I think playing a game of RISK there should be no problem. Miao and the rest of the guys actually held their PLC meeting there once. THANK YOU FOR CLEANING IT UP SCOUTS! And outside the room it says “Scouts/Guides Den”, I suspect it was made by L.L.HAHA. Damn cool la. But the room will always be a hazard. LOL. What’s with our kerosene and stuff. That’s the way I like it. If not, it wouldn’t be Guides Room/Scout’s Den le.

Oh. Another highlight was seeing Kelvin cook/deep fry.HAHA.should have taken a picture of it. He was like “I’ve got an A1 in home econ okay!” and Andreas’s reply was, “Ya, A1 in theory, I think you were on MC the day of the practical”.LOL. So lame! He was frying chicken wings, nuggets, sotong balls and sausages and poor Miaomiao was his sai kang, sticking up everything. MF Scouts and Rovers really are great entertainment, that was what made DREAMS 5 soo fun.

Going back to MF was really great too, I miss the feeling of the school, the comfort of it all.

And I have this gut feeling that I don’t really care about SC. If I am in, then I am in, if not, then okay lor. There is no intense burning love for it, you know? And since I am running against 4 experienced soon-to-be-ex SC members, my chances are even lower. 12/20+ people will get in. 3 CSULB people are running. Pretty damn low.
